Hiraia is derived from the Filipino word hiraya which means imagination and vision. The letter "i" replaced "y" to give acknowledgment to the Basque Country where Neda developed her passion for video production.

"It all started as a curiosity until it became a passion.

I love capturing emotions and paying attention to little things people don't tend to notice. I savor
the moment and immerse myself in it so that I know what to transmit my audience through my work.

That's what makes me a visual storyteller."

- Neda Maramo, owner of Hiraia Pictures

Hiraia Pictures is currently based in Bilbao, Spain but will travel for work.
